Education

Pakistan Freedom Movement will transform the nation’s defunct educational system through a complete redo of educational administration, national curriculum, effective teaching strategies, and new ways for monitoring and supervising instruction. A linkage between the provinces and federal government will be introduced to ensure minimum basic standards of quality and to introduce monitoring mechanisms to check the number of children out of school. Our party understands the ethnic and linguistic diversity of our nation and thus intends to introduce highly personalized and organic approach to education that draws on today’s unprecedented technological and professional resources.

We will ensure that quality education opportunities are available for all through equitable access to appropriate learning and life-skills, so that Pakistan becomes a learning society that fosters a generation of Research & Knowledge for the betterment of environment, management of natural resources, spread of justice, freedom, and human dignity.

At the level of higher education we intend to consider fundamental recasting of federal resources for channeling money towards scientific research among colleges and universities; recasting the undergraduate curriculum; and a stronger, more collective faculty voice in governance that defines not why, but how the enterprise must change. For this, we seek advice from educational policy makers, administrators, curriculum developers, teachers, educators, educational researchers, principals, and even students to provide constructive recommendations for practical change. We will engage an entire generation of Pakistanis, inculcating in them the love for learning and creativity, making them better citizens, ready to face the real challenges of the twenty-first century Pakistan.
