Provision of much needed infrastructure, trained legal staff and technicians for our judges, along with introduction of mechanisms to monitor the quantity and quality of judgments can greatly reduce the burden of non-productive work that the respected judges have to endure, thereby relieving them to focus on quick and fair dispensation of justice to people.
PFM suggests serious and substantial interventions that need to be undertaken to restore the impaired quality of judicial services in the country to address the monstrous backlog, endemic corruption and lack of delivery of meaningful and timely justice, thereby eliminating the lure for an array of alternative and exploitative judicial arrangements across Pakistan.
